As part of its ongoing commitment to delivering a seamless customer experience to its partners, Access BDD, one of the world’s leading suppliers of stairlifts, home lifts and platform lifts, is delighted to announce the launch of LINC – an innovative cloud-based order processing platform.
LINC has been specifically designed for Access BDD partners to give complete visibility of their order book. From the point of order, right through manufacture to dispatch. Enabling the partner to have real-time, up-to-date information to keep their customer informed on the status of their lift at the click of a button. Therefore, partners benefit from a transparent flow of communication from the factory to their customers. Additionally, with LINC being a cloud-based platform, partners can place an order from anywhere and on any device, even in the customer’s home.
The introduction of LINC has been overseen by Lucia Pontecorvi, Business Systems & Training Lead for Access BDD. We caught up with Lucia at the Stockton-on-Tees office to get her thoughts on the rollout so far.
“Our partners are integral to our business, and therefore we are always looking to support them in any way. With the introduction of LINC, each partner will have their own secure account, and by logging in, they can quickly and easily enter the configuration of their customer’s lift. LINC guides partners through the configuration process, eliminating potential errors through predefined intelligent conditional logic. In addition, partners can see exactly what stage each order is at, be notified when drawings are ready for approval and put lifts directly into production.
All correspondence are kept in one central location relevant to each specific order. When there is an update, the partner will be instantly informed via an automatic email notification. We have also established a dedicated LINC team here at Access BDD who will be monitoring all orders to ensure a smooth rollout process”.
In addition to investing in this digital platform, Access BDD is training all its partners to ensure they are comfortable with the new system and maximise its benefits. So far, the feedback during these training courses has been extremely positive, and we look forward to sharing it with more partners in the coming months.
